Design System
Design systems basics and resources to help you build one.
What exactly is a design system?
A design system is the shared set of building blocks and rules that keep a product looking like itself. Colors, type, buttons, and patterns get named once, then reused, so teams stop reinventing the same pieces on every screen.
The point is speed at scale: you spend less time recreating elements, and more time shipping work that already agrees with the rest of the product.

Two ways to get one
Same set of colors either way. Pick whichever fits how you work — both are free.
